I was never a Goth with a capital G (of the sartorial variety of course, not the Germanic peoples of the Visi- and Ostro- types) but I've always gone through phases of incorporating gothic clothing into my wardrobe. Slim silhouettes, draped black, twisted fabric and dark nails have worked their way into my look at one time or another. Maybe it's being back at home that's sparked an interest in the dark side of fashion again, or maybe I'm just getting a bit bored of clean lines and blocked colours.
I just got this long-sleeved jersey top by Thom Krom with twisted seams and amazing thumb holes which are exactly what I've been looking for. Thom Krom seems to be a relatively new brand making quietly cool casual pieces which I've started to see cropping up in places like Oki-Ni or Antonioli (where there's currently a bit of a sale going on). All basic items with a mildly gothic slant.
Wearing top by Thom Krom, necklace by Maria Francesca Pepe, ring by Giles and Brother, trousers by All Saints.
