Hometime

My parents have gone travelling in Mitteleuropa for the summer and have left the family house in my trustworthy hands so I'm back in Glasgow for three weeks on strict thesis lock-down.  I'm not going out and working from dawn until dusk to try to get this finished by the end of the month.  I've even started to dress like I'm back at school.  It'll be healthy breakfasts and cold showers every day until either inspiration or insanity strikes.

When I got back into my room I found a wad of cash left by Mother 'in case you need to take a taxi to the supermarket to use the cash machine'.  I love my Mum.  If only NatWest hadn't fucked up their transition to Santander and left me without a valid bank card from this morning!  So I'll be using the cash to cab it into my nearest branch first thing tomorrow morning.  Le Sigh.  Now, back to work...
